1. Download & Install

Download the EasyTune app from our download page and install it on your Windows computer. Once installed, create your free account to get started.

2. Get Hardware

Obtain a J2534-compatible diagnostic tool - we recommend the OpenPort Tactrix Cable for optimal compatibility. Connect the cable to your vehicle's OBD2 port and your Windows computer.

3. Connect Your Vehicle

Launch the EasyTune app and follow the guided connection process. The app will automatically detect your vehicle's compatibility and guide you through setup.

4. Start Using Features

Supported Vehicles

EasyTune supports all Toyota vehicles from 2007 onwards that communicate via CAN bus, including passenger cars like Camry, Corolla, Prius, Avalon, and Yaris. SUVs and crossovers such as RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia, and Venza are supported. Trucks including Tacoma, Tundra, and Hilux (international) work with the system. Sports cars like Supra, 86, and Corolla GR are compatible. All Toyota hybrid models are supported, as well as commercial vehicles like Hiace and Coaster in select markets.

Emergency Support

If you experience issues during flashing, don't panic as modern ECUs have recovery mechanisms. Don't attempt to drive until resolved, contact support immediately with your vehicle details, and use the Flash Recovery feature if available.

System Requirements

Windows Computer

The system requires Windows 10 or later (64-bit recommended) with 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended) and 500MB available storage space. An internet connection is required for flashing and initial setup, plus an available USB port for diagnostic tool connection.

Hardware

You'll need a J2534-compatible diagnostic tool (OpenPort Tactrix Cable recommended), USB cable for connecting the diagnostic tool to your computer, and an OBD2 cable (usually included with diagnostic tool). Your vehicle must be a 2007+ Toyota with CAN bus communication.
